Shave/wax to remove any unwanted body hair. Stay away from shavers that have a moisture strip as it creates a barrier on the skin that the tan will not adhere to. Avoid soap that contains oil (such as mineral oil)
Exfoliate the entire body. Give special attention to elbows, knees, ankles, and any dry areas!
Moisturize to ensure your skin is healthy and ready for the tan!
Be sure to hydrate as much as possible before and after your appointment! Hydrated skin keeps a tan longer!

Avoid lotions, moisturizers, body oils and perfume. Avoid deodorant if possible. We do have wipes available to remove deodorant if needed.
Wear dark, loose fitting clothing to your appointment.

Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate!!!! You will extend the life of your tan by drinking plenty of water every day and moisturizing your skin daily with a spray tan friendly lotion.
Avoid loofahs, washcloths, or products that contain exfoliation beads/scrubs during your showers.
Long hot showers, baths, hot tubs, saunas, excessive sweating will shorten the life of your tan.
Pat dry after showering.

We suggest getting your spray tan two days before your your big event and one day before leaving for a vacation.

This is completely up to you and your comfort level! Most clients prefer to go topless and wear a bathing suit bottom or a thong. Some choose to wear a one piece or two-piece bathing suit. Men must wear their own boxers, briefs or shorts.

Each appointment begins with a full consultation. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, and we will address any concerns you may have. We will also review prep and after care instructions. Each appointment lasts approximately 30 minutes.
